Scan Your PawTag

Scan the QR code on your PawTag using any smartphone camera. No special app is required.

Tip: Make sure the QR code is clean and clearly visible.

Create Your Pet Profile

Add your pet's important information.

Attach PawTag to the Collar

Attach the PawTag securely to your pet's collar using the provided ring/keychain.

What Happens If Your Pet Is Found?

If your pet gets lost and someone finds them, they can scan the QR code, open the pet profile and contact the owner.

Keep Your Profile Updated

Moved to a new city? Changed your phone number? Got a new photo of your pet? Simply update your PawTag profile.

PawTag does not provide live GPS tracking. It helps a finder access your pet's profile and contact the owner.

For the best experience, we recommend adding:

  • ✓ A clear recent photo
  • ✓ Your current phone number
  • ✓ Useful identification information
  • ✓ Any important information you'd like a finder to know

❕ If Your Pet Goes Missing

Don't wait.

  2. 2 Ask your neighbors.
  3. 3 Post in local pet groups.
  4. 4 Contact nearby vets/rescue organizations.
  5. 5 Make sure your PawTag profile is up to date.
